NYC Mayor’s Office to Combat Domestic Violence (OCDV)

Provides free information and services for domestic violence victims, who can meet with a prosecutor, speak with a trained counselor and apply for housing and financial assistance. Coordinates the provision of domestic violence services, which are provided by numerous NYC agencies and more than 200 community-based organizations. Institutes numerous new projects and practices.
